Without Looking It Up....

We'll start with an easy one:

Some ----- --- ---- made to wave the flag
Ooh, they're --- ----- --- ----
And when the band plays "---- -- --- -----"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, -- ---- --, I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; - ---- -- --------- ---, no

Yeah!
Some folks are ---- ------ ----- in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh
But when the ------ ----- to the door
Lord, the ----- ----- ---- - ------- ----, yes

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no ------------ ---, no
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no

Some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, ---- ---- --- ---- -- ---, Lord
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no

And The Band?
And The Writer?

This is probably wayyyy too easy

Without Looking It Up....

We'll start with an easy one: fortunate Son

I have this song on my itunes, love it.
messy

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Ooh, they're red white and blue
And when the band plays hail to the chief
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, I'm no millionairs son I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no forunate one, no

Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh
But when the taxman comes to the door
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionairs son, no
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no

Some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, when they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no

And The Band? Creed
And The Writer? John Fogurty

This is probably wayyyy too easy

"Gonna find my way to heaven, 'cause I've done my time in hell..." (Keith Richards)

Song: Yesterday
Artist: The Beatles
Writer: Lennon/McCartney

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it look as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
oh, yesterday came suddenly

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
oh, I believe in yesterday

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
oh, I believe in yesterday, mmmmmmmmm.

Oh, sorry, I guess with all of the new mixes, I should of said 'original artist'. I assumed with John Fogerty as writer, CCR would be implied... Oops. That might cause a few lyric changes, too...
