I also need a good plumber to do a fairly large job up here at the NGI. Can't seem to get anyone out to give me a bid. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/sad3.gif

We have had to call a plumber a couple of times and have always used Palomar Plumbing. They were pretty prompt and their rates always seemed reasonable. (209)966-3993

WE highly reccomend J. Conley plumbing. They did an excellent job. They were on time and did a great clean up job. They are a little bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. They also returned phone calls and came out to give a estimate right away.

We've used J Conley several times, and he has done a good job but for some reason, can't get him to come up for an extimate even thought he says he will. I think Palomar has said he doesn't work in Fish Camp. I'll check with Hunter. It's kinda repair and kinda install. I want to replace old pipes that have lots of turns in them and make them straight so stuff doesn't get caught and stuck.

Jeff is a great guy but like all plumbers up here he is in demand so he might be a little busy.

I would steer clear of Oakhurst Plumbing, also known as RJM. I have had 2 bad experiences with him. We have used and been happy with Palomar.

Thanks for the reponses...we picked one and called.

Now, how about a reliable concrete contractor? I have a 14 x 20 slab that needs to get done.

I was a victim of road rage and was almost run off the road 3 times from Mariposa to Oakhurst It was Commercial Concrete, the owner in his truck. 1/2 a year later we were driving down Triangle and these guys were laying an apron on someones property and they got all irate as we drove by. We were on the opposite side of the street from where they were working and we slowed greatly as it was right at Trangle market where there i often edestrian foot traffic. The guy came out in the road behind us and was yelling as we drove thru. 2 days later I drove thru by myself, in a different car, and was aware the guy was out there again so I slowed to 20 miles an hour. The guy gave me the Nastiest look, just for driving by him, I guess and then I noticed the truck. Commercial Concrete. What a surprise............
I would not contract with such volitale people.
