2006 Emmy Awards

[Summer]

Well, I must admit that I only watched this show for one reason only - to see if my very favorite guy would get best actor in a drama series. That would be Denis Leary on Rescue Me. I really didn't think he would win but was happy he at least got nominated. I watch very few shows but that is my fav, along with Hell's Kitchen, Grey's Anatomy and of course Lost. I was shocked Lost didn't get any noms and also that Grey's didn't receive any award. You wonder just how they come up with these winners. It sure isn't by public demand. Anyhow, glad for Kiefer and "24" - was a heck of a long time coming. As for the awards show - booooooring! Conan needs to stick with his own show. Anybody have any comments?

I absolutely dispise Conan, I think he is a freak and he acts so strange. I would like to see Chef Ramsey from Hell's Kitchen take over Conans spot as Host. I loved Hell's Kitchen and I am so happy that Heather that I picked from the start won.

Yeah, I liked Heather from the start too. She impressed me when she got burned, but was still concerned about her team and the dinners they needed to get out. Ramsey is an ***, though. Noone needs to treat other people that way. (but I'm sure much of it is for TV)

I LOVE Conan! I think his humor is...HILARIOUS!..He is so crazy stupid you have to laugh...THe writing from what I saw on the show was SUPERB!..Conan is witty and quick. I think He did an Excellent job!.what I'm wondering is..... what the heck was wrong with Farah Faucett ???? Is she on drugs?.Did she think she had bugs crawling on her or what?...what a dip!

I just read that The Office won an award. I love that show. Glad they won. Now hopefully Pam and Jim get on together... wonder if Blockbuster has the second season episodes of the Brit version yet.

Farah has been drugged out for 20 years. Any appearance she makes is bizarre.

I have seen chef ramsey on many talk shows and he seems to be a really nice guy. I am sure the act was all for the show. I was a bit miffed though at how he kept calling Sara rude names about her weight, I think that was uncalled for and very personal. He did not get that personal with anyone but her.

I thought the show was boring. I'm glad Big Brother and other shows were on so I could switch back and forth.

I don't mind Conan. Just seems there was no excitement.
