Today is Valintines Day; February, 14th, 2006 http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/eusa_dance.gif
So who's got big plans for this celebration of Love?
I'm getting out and going for a ride on my motorcycle into Yosemite Valley http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/cool4.gif.
Tonight, I have an Elks meeting that's for nominating next years officers, so I gotta go http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/bonk.gif
I'm single, so I won't be going out and sweet talking to my honey, don't have one http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/disappointed.gif
I do have a gift for someone that's very special and dear to me, I hope to hear from her sometime today, Tonight should be beautiful outside, with the Moon still close to full.

To all the Lovers out there, Happy Valentines Day http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
To all the single people out there, Have a great day, whatever your doing or with whoever should cross your path. Happy Valentines Day. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/eusa_dance.gif

I will be trudging along the deserted shore, against a bitter cold northern gale, watching a sodden and empty Totino's Pizza For One box float in with the tide. Oh, wait -- things might be looking up --I think there is a piece of crust stuck inside!!!

My sweetie and I will be taking the kids out to Oka for dinner...they love the Tepan table. Usually we go out alone, but this year, we decided to treat the kids, we all exchanged valentines this morning. one year ago today, my sweetie proposed. Hope the weather holds up for the wedding!

I woke up to hearts all over my bedroom, ya know those cardboard replicas of the conversation hearts... Very Cute. Lots of surprises are expected today...
A late lunch with a special friend, and a special dinner tonight at home. Oh, and I gotta stop by my class & drop off the Valentines to my babies..
BUT, I've already had the best part of my day, my boys requested to be driven to school today (they usually take the bus) because they had to get there early to meet their ladies...
David went to school with a heart shaped box of chocolates for his girl & Jai, who is indifferent to everything I thought, got up earlier than his usual 6 am, shaved (which usually takes some coercing) & got dressed in his better black clothing http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/rolleyes2.gif, he had a long stemmed rose, a box of chocolates AND a chocolate rose for some special young lady. In addition to all of this his had a couple of poems he had written. Who would of thought, my quiet, goth son would be a romantic at heart? And, apparently (most likely because of his spoiled mom) http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif he appears to know how to spoil his lady.

Three guesses where we're going, and the first two are wrong....what's more romantic than hockey? Cuddling in the cold seats, the rush when the puck hits the back of the net, the urge to take off your shirt and wave it around your head when the buzzer sounds.....followed by a night alone in a hotel yet to be chosen.

Anywhere with your sweetie is romantic, as long as you are together... We'll be watching 'our' Kings kick the Bulls bottoms tonight... Very, very romantic...

Oh Jerry, that is my most favorite place in the whole world http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif I wish I was going there too. Have a great dinner! If I were going, we would be eating at the Great American Fish Company. Gotta get away one of these days and smell that fresh ocean air!

too bad that the Hungry Fisherman is closed down.
No more Banana Cream Pie.

Id suggest Windows on the Water for a nice romantic supper.
but as for me.... why get the ol hopes up. Ill just dress and go on to work. No Hearts.. No flowers no nothing.. maybe Ill fight CatDaBrat for that last crust stuck to the inside of the pizza box.

Not much better than my day. Kids had a bad day at school and the box I shipped to my oldest son down South got lost via Fed Ex...they don't know where it is http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/cry.gif Hubby had to work his tail off all day and is super tired. I am just going to make some eggs and go to bed. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/no.gif

Happy Crust Day!!!

hey.. then we can drop kick lectydude out of the lighthouse after we eat the pizza crust... do ya have any wine to go with that crust or should i bring some?

CatdaBrat
Feb 15, 2006, 10:33 AM
*Cat rummages around in the cellar and pulls out a bottle of Wölffer 2001 La Ferme Martin Merlot to go with the Totino's pizza crust*

'Lectydude wouldn't like having a meal in my lighthouse anyway ... unless we took that piece of crust and coated it with dark chocolate, then rolled it in 26 layers of granulated sugar.

speaking of cereal, i wish they would sell JUST the little marshmallow bits in lucky charms. i would buy it.

Yosemite_Wolf
Feb 15, 2006, 01:38 PM
Cat, perhaps we could pick out all marshmallow bits, and eat them with the wonderful Merlot you picked out. Then we can toss the nasty bits of cereal down on Lectydude.... lying broken in the dirt at the base of the lighthouse.

*Cat has to periodically sweep up piles of sunbleached bones at the lighthouse base*

... a moon for you ... a horseshoe for me .... a pot of gold for you ..... a star for me ..... a rainbow for you ... a heart for me ... chomp, crunch, smack ...
