I just love the taste of a round table pizza better. Everyone has different tastes. I have eaten at Me & eds and the pizza was good but not great but thats my opinion.

I think you mean Mama Lolly's at the Black Hawk. I also am not impressed with any of the pizza up here, but if I gotta have pizza, I gotta have pizza. So, if I'm feeling lazy, we will have delivery from Pizza Factory. If I'm not so lazy I will go to Round Table. I've tried Me n Ed's a couple of times, but it's not very good. I grew up on Me n Ed's and loved it, so I waas excited when one opened up here, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Cool! I'm glad you enjoyed The Pizza Factory! I ordered from the Pizza Factory a lot when I lived closer to town. I wish they delivered longer distances (even with an extra charge). I order from Corky's house a lot when I am working from his office. I like the pizza there. It's nice to have variety in this town and The Pizza Factory is one of the places that I go to, even though the manager was rude one day when my friends and I wanted to stop in to drink some beer on a Friday evening. Oh well, you can't really judge a business by one employee, right? She might not even work there anymore, for all I know.

I have not yet tried the pizza at Me'n Eds, but when their first place opened in Santa Clara in the Silicon Valley, before it was the Silicon Valley in the late 50's, it was the best pizza by far in the area.

Concerned sorry I totaly disagree, in the Bay Area I would say it would be "Pizza my heart", I have never heard anybody say Me & Eds!! since there are so many here, I could name 6 more better than Me & Eds here in the valley remember this is where I live,
The best in Silicon Valley are:http://siliconvalley.citysearch.com/best/results/8508/see below
1 Pizza My Heart
1390 Lincoln Ave, Willow Glen, CA
2 Cicero's Pizza
6138 Bollinger Rd, San Jose, CA
3 Pizz'a Chicago
155 W SAN FERNANDO ST, SAN JOSE, CA
A Second City pizza that is second to none.
4 Frankie Johnnie & Luigi Too
939 W El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA
An Italian pizza and pasta spot that's equal parts mall and mom-and-pop.
5 I Postale
127 W Washington Ave, Sunnyvale, CA
The restaurant hits the mark with its marriage of Southern Italian staples and the prevailing Northern California aesthetic.
6 Round Table Pizza
1175 Lincoln Ave, San Jose, CA
7 Buca di Beppo Silicon Valley
Locations in Campbell and Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, CA
Beppo's has more plastic popes and photos of Sophia Loren in industrial-strength lingerie than should ever be assembled under one roof.
8 House of Pizza
527 Almaden Blvd, San Jose, CA
9 Amici's East Coast Pizzeria
790 Castro St, Mountain View, CA
Great East-Coast style pizza, baked in a brick oven, at this popular Union Street pizzeria.

Hi Mystee,
When we first moved here we liked Moma Lolos, we even played a old pinball they had there even though was always kinda broken because it was on our way to Oakhurst, but now we drive through Raymond and end up downtown Coarsegold.
But for Round Table & Pizza factory They are probably the best 2, we have tried them all here in the area, the wife loves pizza, and we used to eat Pizza factory all the time mostly because they deliver, but its good to have round table for a change, but it is too bad they do not deliver, but we do like them both.

I've never been to Mama Loly's, I'll have to go and check it out. I usually don't leave town unless I absolutly HAVE to. hehe, ya, I'm one of those. I just hate to go to Fresno, and I have to at least twice a month for apointments, so I try to get everything done while I'm there. HEY....there's an idea, leave a little early for Fresno and try out Mama Loly's. Thanks Brew, great idea!

It doesn't surprise me that Round Table is leading the polls. I think that most people agree that they have the best pizza and the best service out of any other pizza place in the area. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/yes.gif
Of course, a few will disagree. Everyone has their own opinion. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/wiseguy.gif

i agree. the pizza factory in north fork is better than the oakhurst one. but i miss the crust they used to make... 5 or 10 years ago. it's different now. but it's still good.
do they still have the malt ball ice cream? (i know this probably belongs in another thread... sorry!)

Yup, Oakhurst Pizza Factory is pretty good, I think that North Fork is probably better. I go there about once a month or so. I like the bread sticks the best!
Now I'm hungry... maybe I'll go grab a pizza in North Fork! http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/idea3.gif

Round Table in Oakhurst is the best pizza, even better than other Round Tables. But now they have sold and are getting rid of most of the beer, they said going down to 4 form 13. I hope the new owner makes the pizza as good. They said they are getting rid of breadsticks, giant pizzas, the salad bar will change and they won't have the sauce that is on the Maui Zaui. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/bonk.gif
