Read the police blogs? Oh, do. But keep in mind they're not "all ages" and use some profanity occasionally.

"12:49 p.m. Yet another feral male favoring the always-fashionable shaved-head/hooded sweatshirt combo was seen yelling and hitting cars in the 700 block of Ninth Street. He then turned to a more productive and sensible activity - shouting profanities at a fence. "

"3:23 p.m. A woman asked that police check on the well-being of a catfish in a tank she believed to be too small on 18th Street. The catfish was found to be fine. "

Yeah thats cool. I like the this story. 1:13 a.m. A "hippie van was reportedly parked on the plaza's north side, an electrical cord snaking over to a city outlet. When police arrived, the energy umbilicus was detached and no one answered the door. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif I went on a vacation up north to visit friends who live in arcata. We celebrated our arrival at the Blue Lake Casino. Nice plush country up there.
