I've been practicing Yoga on-and-off the last 2 years since moving here (irregularly). The stress of the move, and a very intense new job, that has remained intense, set me looking for something that will help me relax.

Well, I can't say I've achieved total relaxation, but I love the way Yoga loosens my muscles, opens up my chest and breathing and I sleep so much better after practicing Yoga before heading off to bed.

I've started up again this past week and a half, almost every night and dare I say, I feel like I HAVE to do my Yoga at night! It just makes me feel THAT good!

Amazing.

I bought a few different Yoga DVDs so I don't get bored and I'm changing it up. Tonight I actually did 2 classes, I just WANTED to! Wierd huh? But not!

Goodnight - looking forward to a peaceful restful night!

Anyone else do Yoga?

Where can we learn to do Yoga? Haven't heard of any classes anywhere here in the mountains.

I don't know - I've been doing DVDs at home.

I think one of the local gyms does.

Ive been doing yoga for years. Its kept me quite limber for a chunky girl. You can find classes at the dance studio in Oakhurst. There used to be a woman (Im at a loss for her name) who taught several classes in that model home in Coarsegold. And of course there are thousands of videos.

Yoga breathing techniques are the best. They come in handy when having something like dental work done. Totally relaxes me and keeps my mind focused elsewhere.

There is YJ. There was one gal who was pregnant in my class. She couldn't do all the moves Lindsey taught her some pregnant moves she can do.

When it comes to dental work.. i need more that relaxed breathing.. like Xanax to put me in a relaxed enough state where Ill let the torturer, oops dentist touch a tool to my mouth! Dental work is even better when they knock ya out completly!
