I have no idea - I haven't broken up with anyone in over 19 years!

Was just talking about this sort of thing yesterday. It's my opinion that LOTS of men just can't stand the thought of the women in their past relationships moving on to become available to other men. It's as if they feel the women were (are) their possessions, their property, and the men are very jealous. It's sorta like the "If I can't have you, nobody can" thing.

The only hope I see for that situation is for the guys to find somebody new they can "possess." Gee, sorta sounds reminiscent of "The Exorcist."

I dealt with this a lot from my ex husband.

He seemed to think that me moving on and being in a new relationship would somehow mess up "our" relationship when we got back together. But obviously I didn't love him, and I had moved on, and hadn't thought twice about it.

Bah.

Lindabo-
I hope this is not nor will become a safety issue. If you feel the least bit in danger, call the police.

Bad choice in men maybe?..we've all done it.. (ladies I mean)I've had some real losers, but that was because my choice in men in the past were..cocaine dealers, leachers, losers with no sense of direction and no respect for the opposite sex...My husband is a blessing to me and is all I could want in a guy..Hard working great morals and makes me laugh...still is a blessing after all these years even though he hacks loogies in the shower sometimes..but I'm over those pet peeves...I think.. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/sick.gif

Yep, I also went through the "bad boy" stage. I don't know what finally shifted in my head that allowed me to be loved by a good man, but I'm sure glad it did!
