I voted Good on this. I have been several times. They have yet to mess up an order and the line moves very fast, even when there are a lot of cars! I think they are doing a good job so far.

I voted "average". I've been there maybe 6 times since they've opened. Had orders screwed up maybe 2 of the 6 (which is way better than Mc Donald's)...usually not fulfilling requests like plain kid's cheeseburger or the dipping sauce with the Chicken Stars. I agree the line moves more quickly than again compared to Mc Donalds. But I'd say they are "average" as far as Carls Jr's go...what you'd expect and nothing more. Am I right in saying they're average?

I haven't been there, either. I normally don't eat that sorta stuff unless I am down in the Valley and the people I am with all insist on stopping for a quick bite. One time last summer, though, I had one of those six-dollar burgers, or whatever they're called, and it was pretty good. Usually, if I have to eat fast food, I try to talk everyone into going to Panda Express. I know there's better food around, but I really love that Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Shrimp with noodles. I am getting really close to duplicating that Orange Chicken at home.

I have given Carl's Jr. a couple of shots now myself. The service has been good. Better than most even. There is an after taste with the food that has bothered me enough to not yet finish a meal from there. I'm not sure if perhaps their fryer oil isn't being changed enough or if it is a freezer kind of taste or a combo of both. Granted, it's fast food so I expect tons of calories and fat grams; I did not expect to find a greasey film in my mouth after taking a few bites of my favorite Carl's burger.
I am going to give the place one more try though. I tend to go after I get off work which is between 11 pm and midnight. I'm hoping if I go earlier in the day, the fryer grease will be a little newer and not totally thrashed by the dinner crowds.
