Take a look at the website; if you or anyone you know is in need of this, let me know. I have the brochures available. I also have the information for those who have financial hardship but need this service.

My grandson wears one, he has hemophilia. He's worn one since he was two, he's six now.

Absolutely you should. You put the worse allergies on the bracelet, (what would immediately kill you that's often used in emergency situations). Everything else is in your medical profile with Medic-Alert, which is available nationally. When EMS or a hospital sees your bracelet, they either call or go online to get the rest of your history. You update it as it changes. This is really helpful if you can't speak for yourself.

Brochures are out now at Longs and Vons pharmacies, Dr. Lopez' office and Dr. Brosi's office. They are also available from me.
Medic Alert also has a program for those who can't afford the service. Just get a prescription of medical need from your MD and EM me and I'll send you the brochure for that.

Hey Kim,
I looked a little at the website, I think the medicalert key thingy would be good for me, since I am on so many medication, some heavy duty ones, and also alergic to so many things.
I couldn't find a price for it. I'd like to find out how much that is, so I know if I can afford it or not. Help?

It's a wonderful thing 2 have if any of you have medical problems.
My husband has 1 & he has so many illnesses that now the doctors just ask him, "what haven't you had..lol
Not funny though

The E-HealthKey is 49.95...plus the $40 membership fee and 4 bucks S&H. If you get a brochure, it's on the back page at the bottom.
Just fill out the information and send it in.
If you have difficulty affording it, you can call 800-228-6222x2492 and they can tell you what they can do to help. I expect that the "contributor fund" would pay for your membership but not the Key.

Go down toward the bottom and you'll see the question about the cost to join. It's the same cost as is listed on the brochure. There are emblems available for 9.95 on the brochure as well; a whole page of them for adults and kids. The price I quoted was for the specific item that Mysteefied asked for.
If you see another page where the membership is $26. 95, by all means, join there. But I would call and confirm that before you do.
