Dakota came home from school and told me there was a bear at Rivergold Elem. today. It was her teacher that spotted it.
Dakota said there were 3 sheriffs cars and a closed in truck.
I'll get more info tomorrow morning.

Channel 30 news was at Rivergold Elem. today. Over the weekend Mama and her cub got into the dumpsters and this morning alot of other trash cans. There was trash everywhere. Kids even saw the bears this morning.

They were able to tranquilize the cub today but not mama. Hopefully they'll catch her soon. They will then take the bears up to Yosemite.

I saw this on the news this afternoon. I hope they reunite the mother with her baby if at all possible.

Heck yeah. I like your thinking. There's plenty of trash cans in the park for them to rummage through...

Yep, being that tomorrow is trash day and all those cans will be very accesable to the bear.
