I saw the obituary in the Sierra Star for the 16 year old son of Tripptree Pool and Spa. Anyone know what happened? My thoughts and prayers are with the family~

I saw it too. It's so sad to lose someone so young.

Woopsydaizy -
My daughter went to gradeschool with the boy. I believe she told me he had leukemia.
I'm beginning to think there's sounding like an abnormally high incidence of leukemia in these parts. I think in alllllllllll my life before moving here I had only heard of one or two leukemia deaths and now I think I've heard of 3 since being here and of a couple more families facing leukemia down. Seems odd to me...

Yup, that's what I was thinking. I've discussed this with a few other people & we've decided that because the population is so small, the percentage is probably actually less than in a city such as LA. Here everybody knows everyone else, and families in need are helped by the community, it's not really like that in the bigger cities.
Although I still don't trust the water...
