I stayed at a Yosemite West condo (they have studios and lofts) for a great price. Winter rates are a lot less. The units have full kitchens, laundry, fireplace, and a snow play area right outside for young kids...plus its right around the corner from Badger Pass...maybe not as fabulous as tenaya or Ahwahnee, but reasonable and comfortable...the loft unit I stayed in could probably sleep up 6 people. It was $159/nt...and I found it on www.scenicwonders.com (http://www.scenicwonders.com) - this website had cabins too (but we were looking for economy) - just thought I'd share - was great for the kids, they loved it!

Munstagirl.. Yose West has some great places to stay! My bro in law used to rent his custom homes as vacation rentals. Its just too bad that a certain contractor decided to build "hotels" disguised as vacation homes. But Yose West is a great location for Badger!! Glad ya had a good time!

What beautiful houses. Thanks for the link, I think we are going to put in a reservation for next New Years. Hopefully there will be lots of snow!
