thefts at Meadow Springs Ranch

last week, a neighbor whose new home is under construction told me that items left outside: gardening tools and equipment, tables, chairs, etc. are disappearing from homesites in Meadow Springs Ranch.

I suppose that construction workers heading home after work check out unoccupied sites and take whatever they want. I haven't heard of any thefts of construction materials as yet, but this is a potential problem in the future.

Best way to deal with this? ask sheriff for regular patrols, set up a Neighborhood Watch? tell homebuilding companies to keep a watch on their employees?

That's pretty sad to hear. Although, while they were "just" lots and recently "developed" with roads while they were for sale, we'd drive up there and see people just willynilly cutting trees down and taken the wood.

Ask the HOA hire a security guard 24/7 while all this new construction is going on.
