Ive seen that website before. I stopped shopping at Walmart a LONG time ago. Heck, I don't even go to Sams Club anymore.... I had a Sams Club card... it was less than a yr. but at the beginning of the following yr, I got the renewel paperwork in the mail... Im like, I paid 40 bucks and my year isnt even up yet.. they can keep their membership. This country has gone the way of the discount wherehouse stores...... Cosco, SamsClub, Wallyworld, Target, Winco, Foodmaxx etc etc. But at least Winco is selling American goods. Ill go to Target before I ever go to Walmart again. (Target is a lil bit better about not using "Hecho in China" goods. )

Speaking of Winco, I have been keeping track of their prices and even though stores like Raley's and Vons are also big chain stores, their prices are quite often three times higher (or more) than Winco's. Ever since the remodel at Vons in Oakhurst, the prices have skyrocketed and continue to do so. I still like the "10 for $10" thing and the Rancher's Reserve meat is excellent, but for my "big" shopping trips, you will find me happily pushing a cart up and down the Winco aisles. The only shock I get at the cashier is to think, "Wow -- I can't believe I got this much stuff for such a low total!" I see quite a few people from up here when I go there. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

Regarding WalMart, I admit that I was happy to see a great selection of stylish and affordable plus-sized women's clothing. If other stores want to provide as big a selection at the same prices, I would gladly shop at their places, but ..... they don't. Most plus sizes at other stores are usually ugly and expensive.

I am not really into the "rest home look" of fuschia or turquoise elastic-waist polyester pants and seersucker "bowling shirts" with sailboats or bumblebees appliqued on them!

I hope I continue to lose weight so I can find some decent clothes.

I absolutely shop at Target heads and above Walmart, specifiaclly for their unethical practices towards their workers and their policies regarding their manufactured goods..blech...

I like Trader Joes, because you can get organics there so much cheaper than Whole Foods.
