It was at the shell in friant while hubby and i were shopping....

i am so upset over this... i cried forever....

the officer who came out was a great guy he was taken off to look for it ...so if anyone sees it it is gold with a big Y for badgers football and it has a lic plate frame of the pink bunny..it says you suck and that's sad.... so if you see it find out who is driving it...please......

Get Coldwolf on recovery, I hear he's pretty good at that type of thing.

do you have a photo of it?
One time on my ATV forums someone had his quads riped off. he posted a post about it with photos and 3 days later is was spotted at a Riding spot in another state by a forums member and they were busted.

I bet you will get it back eventually. In the 80's, I had a Mazda RX-7 that got stolen 6 times! I was living in San Diego and kept going to Tijuana's chop shops looking for it, but it was usually within a couple of miles from where it had been stolen. The I moved to Orange County and it got stolen twice there! I finally stopped locking it and used a screwdriver to start it. Never did know why it was so popular, it was an automatic and had an 8 track player. Every time I got stolen, like an idiot I would walk around the block like it was a dog or something that had just wandered off. I hope your car is found soon!

It sounds like a very recognizeable Jeep with its color and stickers- so if they are out joyriding, its sure to be spotted...

Hopefully its not in a warehouse somewhere (chopshop). I've heard Fresno is a hotbed for stolen vehicles and chopshops. Hence the high auto insurance rates.

I hope you were insured. And I hope more so its found quickly if its to be found.

My mothers' car (a little Nissan) was stolen years ago in Woodland Hills. They found it two blocks away from her work - up on blocks and stripped. She didn't want it back. But insurance didn't total it, fixed it and gave it back. She sold it and got a different car. I don't know, she just felt she didn't know what they'd done to it and didn't want it anymore.

Im sorry this had to happen.

but like it said if it even would still have my Y on the back and a ducking hunting sticker and union sticker and the lic. plate frame says "you suck and that's sad" and part of the lic plate has the letters HIV ..don't laugh either..... http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif

I was living in Kensington, not too far from El Cajon Blvd. Not a good neighborhood, but I loved it for awhile

That really sucks! Last nite at work, there were not one, but two cars broken in to!! Can you believe that crapola? someone breaking into cars on christmas!!
And the really sad part is this: I work at fresno community hospital.. .where we are SUPPOSED to have security patrolling the parking lots to prevent such actions! (the hospital only has one car on patrol and that car has to drive around to ALL the facilities... ie UMC, CCH and FCH.). The cars that got busted into were like RIGHT close to my car! Man, I would been out hunting wabbits if my car had gotton busted into!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

My car was found. Dos Palos area......

three men were in it... one (the driver) ran...the other two were busted and arrested... they do have the name of the driver... but merced police towed my car and now it is gonna cost me 200.00 to get my car out... My car gets stolen and christmas gone by and i have no money and it is gonna cost ME the 200.00 ....

wholly crap! How can they charge YOU to get your car out? that's insane, it's not your fault some jerks decided to take it. I hope there is some other way, I wish I had some money, I'd give it to you to get your car back. What a bunch of A holes~!

I'm glad they caught the thieves, but it really sucks that they are holding your car hostage. It's probably at an impound yard, which means the fees will go up with each day that passes. I hope you can get it soon!

No, Donny did. He never kept them, usually only drove them 1 night and then dropped it off within sight of where he got it from. He really did just joy ride them.

I had a truck stolen from me a couple of years ago. A beatup Toyota I bought from YJ. The CHP found it the next day, but. They had it towed by North Fork Towing, then notified me by MAIL that they had recovered it. By the time I got the notification 9 days had gone by and the charges were almost 600 bucks. I was trying to sell it when it was taken. There were FOR SALE signs in both side windows and on the windshield. with the phone number. And a ASK INSIDE AT SCOTTYS REPAIR printed on them. I was tring to sell the truck for 400. I didn't pick it up from North Fork.

My Jeep is home...sighs...all my stickers are off and they took apart everything in my car... left junk and food and whiskey bottles and just messed it up.... threw out the flowers my daughter bought me, the butterfly my younger daughter bought me... the angel haning off my mirror... just pissed me off...and two of them live in the madera county and one in Raymond i think.. when i get the report i will let you know who they are...and one of the guys who got arrested said he new me..yeah right...............they threw all my paper work out EVERYTHING... i am so fricken pissed.........

but my Jeep is home now have to buy new stickers... mostly my Yosemite football Y....

and the tow company..don't get me fricken started and that..........ohhhhhhhhhhh they told my husband one price and then upped it a hundred more bucks........now i got my Jeep out and no money... hubby took the day off and that complete his pay week of no check.... so no money no food...merry fricken christmas.....i am so mad right now............

I am sorry to hear this *Michelle*. To have your car stolen sucks. To have to pay to get it out of towing is crap. They don't care. Those tow yards are scammers anyway. It's legal extortion in this situation. It's unfortunate that bad things happen to good people. I hope that this straightens out and you are not liable.
