So the House republican voted to replace Tom Delay as Majority Leader. There was a little problem in the vote.

Ya know, when they even try to steal thier own private elections, you know there is something foul in Neoconville. Yep, there were more votes counted in the election than the number of Republican Representitives present.

So they have to have a revote.

My only link is from RollCall. (http://rollcall.com/issues/1_1/breakingnews/12015-1.html)
House Republicans are taking a mulligan on the first ballot for Majority Leader. The first count showed more votes cast than Republicans present at the Conference meeting. Stay with RollCall.com for updates.

You didn't mention that the outcome was different the second time around.

Did you see the on line poll on Lou Dobbs program where he asked, "Do you believe House Republicans, led by John Boehner, can clean up the corruption on capitol hill?"
The final outcome was: Yes 3 percent, No 97 percent. I voted no, although I believe John Boehner is an honorable man. The problem is just too big. But I wish him luck.

I'm surprised it was even 3 percent. I already heard him talking about how this was an isolated problem. Is the problem too big or is it that the effort to fix it is too small. We can send robot probes to another planet but we can't clean up our political system, I refuse to believe that.

Republicans do not watch Lou Dobbs on the Hate America Network.

How would you have answered the question?

Only the voters, or an airliner crashed into the capitol building could clean up the corruption in Congress...

Less than 8000 people voted on Lou Dobbs' website.
He should have also had a question like: Do you think the Democrats could clean up Congress...?

Probably would have got the same ratio.

Leave it to CNN to do push polling.

I agree with many of Dobbs' ideas, I just can't stand wading through the anti-American claptrap pervasive on CNN (i.e. Christianne Amanpour, et al).

Anti-conservative does not equal anti-American.
