They also beep every 30 seconds for a ******* hour to let you know the backup batteries are dying. I just replaced every battery in the house and have to say I feel the safer for it. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/yes.gif Rember, Fire in the home increase this time of year. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/smoking.gif So , when was the last time YOU checked your batteries and tested the detectors. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/anxious.gif

The changing of the batteries is all a part of the bi-annual day-light savings festivites at my house. We figured since we are changing clocks in each room might as well change batteries in the smoke alarms too.

We test our smoke alarms on a weekly basis.

Yup, I replace mine when the time changes. I replace the battery in my alarm clock then too. Never be late to work! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
