Got the final confirmation today. Mine is arriving from Tenn Friday!! I am way excited. We saw each other in August briefly and have spent our after high school years in the same places at different times.

I am blessed to be able to spend quality time together over the holidays as he was just offered a job as an ammo handler in Iraq.

Yes...this could turn into one of those finally got the timing right after 20 years stories. I think that is pretty romantic for the holidays.

I was sick of all those Christmas TV commercials and magazine ads that made it seem like if you REALLY love him/her, then you will spring for diamond jewelry or a fancy new car. Or how about those lame-O perfume commercials that are sooooo fairy-tale dramatic. (Like the one where some dude arrives at night in the middle of a snowstorm, the chick runs out to greet him, and he gives her THE BOX, which, of course, contains diamonds ... then they give each other THE LOOK!) *There is no graemlin for gag or vomit so just imagine one here* Do people really fall for that stuff?
