I had the good fortune yesterday to be at the beauty salon while Clancy's Grandma was there. Hard to believe she is Grandma - she could pass for Mom! Anyway, she was telling everyone about their upcoming trip to Poland and how excited and hopeful they are that this will benefit Clancy - especially if he can learn to talk so they can communicate. She expressed how thankful and surprised they were at the outpouring of the community to help them. The dinner at the Elks was a great success. Over and over again she expressed how thankful they were and blessed to be living here and thankful to the Lord and their church. It made me feel good that I was able to contribute and thought you all should know (in case you don't) how much it meant to participate in that benefit dinner. Continue to pray for Clancy's progress and I am so proud and glad I live in Oakhurst!

Clancy's first round of therapy apparently did good things for him. There's another fund raiser set on June 24th at Oakhurst Park to help him go back to Poland for more therapy. More info when I get it, but save the date! Food, Moon Bounce & Fun.
