I haven't decided yet. Some of the reviews I have read say it's pretty intense.

I guess if they were gonna portray a disaster like that with any realism, it would have to be intense. I will go see it if it is playing up here. I am not much into cartoon movies, so it would be nice to have something serious.

I have respect for the producers; they checked with the survivors' families to make sure every family was okay with the production of the movie. There wasn't one family that didn't want the film to be made.
Yes, I will see the movie.

When I first saw the previews I thought I would not go see it.
But after reading the reviews I will see it. No politics, no outside sources, no hero, no nothing spectactular or fictious. Just what was happening, how it happened, and the end.

It's a great thing that all the families agreed. I think they know that this story is important and it will help us never forget.
I know I will go, most likely like to love it and cry like a baby because this story, more so than many others of that day personally touches me.

Sounds like I'd rather see the Discovery channels version.
I would like to hear people's opinions after they see the movie, before I pay to see it.
(Glad I didn't pay to see Jarhead. That was the second worst movie I've seen lately. Stopped watching 1/2 way through- it was such B.S.)

Is the Discovery version different than the one playing at the theaters? I saw the one on Discovery the other day. I thought it was very good. They did a very good job.

My family will be going to see it. I think alot of people have forgotten what happened already.
My husband is pilot and bids to fly ever Sept. 11th. To show respect for the crews and people that died that day.

Can someone please post a description of the ending after they see the movie. Maybe put up a SPOILER warning or something so that people who want to see the movie don't have any suprises ruined...thanks.

I just got it from Netflix and am wondering if it is the same one that is in the theatres. The description says it was origionally aired on A & E and was prouced in cooperation with some of the victim's family members, so it sound like it is, but I'm not sure. We will probably watch it tonight.

Reminds me of other dates that rarely make the news/forgotten:
Dec. 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor Day
April 19, OKC bombing & The Raid @ Waco,TX.
June 6, D-Day
