I went to the Oakhurst Jamba Juice for the first time yesterday. I have been to other locations in the Bay Area.
I was lucky enough to find a front row parking spot as soon as I pulled in. I heard from others that it was very hard to find parking there. The lot was pretty full.
I only had to wait in line for a few minutes, but I did have to wait about 10 minutes for my drink to come up. They were busy, but it seems like they should have had another person making the drinks. I think they only had two girls making drinks, two cashiers and a dish washer.
I was a bit annoyed that my drink was done and it sat there for another couple of minutes before the girl looked up and handed it to me. She walked away from it and started on another drink instead of just giving it to me. Maybe I'm being to picky about it.... I don't know. It just seemed like she should have finished taking care of me before starting new ones.
Pulling out of the parking lot was a pain. There were some trucks with trailers parked on the curb making it hard to see around them. It took me about 5 minutes to pull out.
Then I took a drink of my smoothie and it was not blended all the way. There were chunks of ice in it. I don't remember it being that way at other locations.
I won't let one bad experience keep me away, but I really think that the parking situation there is pretty bad.
In all, it took me about 30 minutes to park, order, get the drink and pull out. It will be a while before I go back. I'll let the madness die down a bit.

I went to Jamba Juice a couple weeks after they opened. Luckily, no problem parking at that time but the line in the store was about 8 deep and it took a long time to get our drinks (5 of us)...about 15-20 minutes from the time we got in line. The service seemed fine, but back-logged. They had doors wide open to the front patio which wasn't such a great idea...being fly season, there were many flies in the store...and I'm sure was making their AC work doubly hard.
I've been to Jamba Juice before in southern CA...so I knew what to expect. I have to say...I usually do a Jamba Juice maybe once a year. I'm just not a Jamba Juice person. Jamba Juice only appeals to me maybe on a rare hot summer afternoon...otherwise, I'd just go with good ol' H20. So I voted "average" on the basis that I, personally, don't get excited about essentially blended up smoothie/fruit drinks at their asking price. You won't catch me going there again unless someone asks me to join them there...nothing against them, it's just me.

I'd been to Jamba Juices in the bay area before, too.
I hate crowds and loud noises, so i'm not really big on places like that.
But i went twice last week, and my boss went for me once.
I guess i lucked out. Wait times were under 10 minutes, parking was OK and getting out was only slightly problematic. All three drinks were great and fully blended.
I'll definitely go again next time i'm sick http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/yes.gif

The Jamba Juice in FigGarden, Fresburg takes a bit of time to get thru. You wait about 10 minutes for your drinks... but my smoothies have always been good. I have yet to go to the OakyDoke JJ though
