Name an actor that signals a great movie 100% of the time.
I will watch anything that Jodie Foster is in. I also like Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. I like Kelly McGillis too, but she is pretty much out of the business now.

I love almost everything that John Cusack has been in, even though some were silly, I just like him as an actor. I've enjoyed everything that Johnny Depp has been in EXCEPT for Charlie and the Chocolate factory...He just creeped me out in that.

I find it funny that noone has mentioned Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts. All of them make a bazillion dolars per movie.

Gotta agree with Johnny Depp. Benny and Joon will be a cult classic.
Helen Hunt has impressed me with her couple of films.

Anthony Hopkins, Michael Caine and Holly Hunter
I recently saw Secondhand Lions with Michael Caine and Robert Duvall great family movie.
I think my daughter wore out the Benny and Joon tape Depp is very talented. I pretty much agree with everybody listed I tried to think of a bad movie with Pierce Brosnan but couldn't come up with one I'm not that fond of him. Tom Cruise has to be the one of the most overpaid actors of all time.

Benny and Joon will be a cult classic. Love that movie. Esp the scene where Johnny Depp is in the diner and does the puppet dance with two dinner rolls stuck on forks. I was busting up. Just about any movie with Aidan Quinn does it for me. (Songcatcher, Benny and Joon, at play in the fields of the lords, Handmaidens tale, and Michael Collins.)
yeah.. good movies.
