Dear Friends,
Inanna's Gift is joining the grass roots effort to honor young
Kristopher Turner, and we need your help.
You may remember, Kristopher's tragic death more than a year and a
half ago sent ripples of shock and grief through eastern Madera
County. Kristopher's body was found along the Fresno River near
where Highway 41 crosses the water in Oakhurst. Inanna's Gift
supports the effort to rename that bridge "Kristopher's Crossing."
Kristopher loved to fish along the river banks surrounding that
bridge, and it is where his family believes he crossed over to a
better place.
However, we need state approval for the public memorial. By filling
out, signing and mailing a simple form, you can help make that
happen. We have included the letter in two formats for your
convenience (one attached, one below). By taking a few moments to
remember Kristopher, you are helping ensure he is never forgotten.
