The first of these were taken on Feb 28, 2005 on my road trip from Coarsegold to Lake Hensley . The last 4 were taken in Aug 2003. The lake continued to decline in level even more in 2004.

I believe that is lupin. There are different varieties, i don't know the names of 'em. Some are more individual, some in a bush. Some smell good, others stink.

Wow, those are beautiful pictures. Love the purple flowers!

I love the way the background turned out in those shots it looks like a watercolor painting.

The purple flowers are those bushes that you see along the highway. We want some.

Those are great pics Newcomer.
The purple flowers are Lupin. They are very pretty and they have a strong aroma. Be careful how many you plant. They bloom for quite awhile too.

nice shots Newcomer, I noticed driving by there a couple of weeks ago that it was looking pretty full, also saw some people fishing next to the road where all the boulders are usually seen....that reminds me I need to get a license
