I went into radio shack asking about hand held gps system's,well the bloke in the shop was a waste of of space. Then i asked for a digital wind meter, and i got told we don,t sell them here. But a woman shopper told the sale's man "you do i bought my husband one from here for Christmas".
I cann't stand going into tech head shop, and the people in the shop knowing nothing.

Yeah, for one reason or another, I usually get frustrated when I go into Radio Shack.

That's because you don't realize they are now really called 'Cell Phone Shack' ...

Oh no, don't get me started on my experience with Radio Shack... too late.

I went in to get a splitter thing for my tv/vcr/dvd/satiellite and was ignored for more than five minutes while one salesgirl sorted through a box a couple feet from me, behind the counter. A salesman was on the phone having an argument with a wife/girlfriend obviously. I said something (I forget now) and walked out.

My husband needed something (I don't remember what) from Radio Shack, something that you specifically buy there.. he called ahead of time to see if they had it in stock. The saleswoman said yes come on in, he has "ten minutes" before she closes. He got there within plenty of time to buy the item the woman had already put aside. Decided to buy some batteries and the woman stood behind the counter counting down, "three minutes", "two minutes".. he was the only customer, and geez, how rude!

wow Radio Shack use to be a great place to go. Maybe it will get better now that the manger is going out the door. Hopefull the new one will be better. Since it is open up I think it has had 5 different ones. In 10 1/2 years thats not to bad.

Pete is leaving ?? I think he said something about going to be getting a job as a Personel manager hiering people for radio shack. But I might be wrong.
The problem is that they have a lot of new people all the time. I never buy anything there I need help with unless Pete or Dan are there.

Howdy Rod,

I talked with Dan several weeks ago and he told me he left R.S. to work for another company that was local, and also he was really happy about what he was doing for them, and the money was better too.

Dan was going to guide me through some pinball stuff, but I now am pretty much an expert now http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif and have now repaired a few, and completely shopped my own Pins now, in fact I'm going to be selling one pretty quick here soon, and putting in the Sierra Star at a price that will not be seen even on E-Bay for this beautiful machine, and for shipping pick-up is free because its local, on E-bay $400.00 plus, and I really dont want to deal with shipping it anyway...

That was the cost of shipping Pins to Oakhurst.

I'm asking $2000 for this one and only for the Local Oakhurst Area or lets just say for "Forum people" for just right now I'm really not in a hurry to sale it...yet. but check it out on E-Bay or Goggle it, ya wont beat my price on this machine or the condition, my machines are beauty's.

Here's a pic of some of my Pins, the one for sale is called Fish Tales on the end.
yep...I own 2 of um its a great game http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
