Miller's Landing has a great coupon in today's paper. Buy 1 Miller Burger, get one free. Valid until June 30. I'm sure gonna use mine!

I tried to eat one once, but it was so messy all the pieces ended up flopping out limply onto my plate and I woulda needed a bath towel to keep my face dry. The bun got all soggy and smashed, too. Are the hamburgers over there still like that? I realize that a lot of people like their burgers messy like that, but I don't. Just curious to see if I should give it another try.

To me that's the joy of a good burger. I haven't eaten there for a couple of years, so I don't know.

OK, thanks for the reply, Monkey. I think it's been about 5 years or longer for me, so I wasn't sure.
My favorite burgers are hard to find, but the Fosters Freeze over in Los Banos still has 'em. The "Original" burger it's called ... with relish and chili. Can also be a little bit messy but not too bad. I really hate it when a bun gets soggy or smashed flat and slides off with a splat.

I ate there at least once a week last season. Never had a bad (or messy) burger. I eat mine without mayo or sauce, so that might have something to do with it... Will be heading there soon for my first of the season. Like to eat on the patio & watch the boats. (and the boys on the boats) http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif

I'll shoot for 1pm also, but can't promise anything. I'll make a post in the lunch thread for the others.

I vote "good". I ate there today for lunch."
After a fun morning on the water in the boat http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/tongue.gif"
I had a Miller cheeseburger, with grilled onions, dragged threw the garden "lettuce , tomato, pickles , thousand Island dressing , mustard and catsup". Also a small crinkle cut fries and a Dr. Pepper http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif.
The service was friendly and quick, the cook was pretty fast too http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/eusa_dance.gif.
I ate there about 12:30 p.m. and right after I recieved my food the place got stormed "filled up inside and almost full on the patio too" http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/greedy.gif.
I saw a couple of people who where upset at how long there orders were taking http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/annoyed.gif http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/shout.gif , but the three on the grill where putting out about a dozen orders at the same time http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/bonk.gif.
If I had to choose "The Fork's Burger" or a "Miller Burger", I would have to say that the Forks gets my vote every time.

I'm happy to see a post about Miller's. My husband and I live in BassLake Hts. so we've been known to frequent the two burger places (the Forks also of course). There is so much talk about the great burgers at The Forks but we think they don't compare to Miller's. Yum! Hopefully, there will be more coupons!

Had a DELICIOUS burger there tonight. They close Oct 1, so if you want one more burger before fall closes in, better go soon.
