While 73 percent of elevators have a "door close" button, the button only works in eight percent of those elevators.

I have an elevator at my new Oakland crib and that close door button doesn't work. In fact, I think it takes longer to close the doors if you push that button. It's the kind of elevator with doors on both sides. You may remember from a previous topic that I don't like those kind of elevators... remind me of going up to the operation room in the hospital. Anyway, Kato likes it...
