One of the few times I was scared in my life....
Cristina was about three & we were driving my VW squareback thru the desert above Lancaster. We hit a sandstorm (or it hit us) and when it finally was over, the car was perfectly sanded on the front end and part of the roof, as in, no paint, just a grey primer color. The glass was all scratched up, it was weird.
