i nead computer help my computer seys the date is may/4/1995 the time is right but the date is 11 years off how do i fix this? can someone tell me

No problemo... Are you using Windows? Try double clicking on the time in the bottom right corner of your screen. Select the correct date and hit OK.

i tried that and a popup said run time error? what ever that means

Did you restart and try again?

If you did and got the same error, you are probably gonna need to repair your installation of your Operating System. You can do this with the CD that came with your computer. What version of Windows? XP?

You will probably have to go into the BIOS of your sytem. When you turn the computer on, you should see a flash of something like "Press F1 for setup". Go in there and find the date area and change it. Then exit/save changes. Hopefully that will work for you http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

i dont remember the computer now says no OS. now i dont have a computer that works i am useing my sister old computer wich is from the eary 90s(93) and i nead to get my computr working agan. so if anyone has a windows disk i can barow
(i dont care wich one as long as it is 95 or newer) let me know
