Beginning to look like I can't go - Rob is likely to be home for the weekend (to be here for Nick's opening night as the Hero in the Golden Chain Melodrama "Love Rides the Rails" Saturday, June 10) and he'll be leaving around 2pm Sunday). Don't want to miss time with him.

Well, Rob didn't come home this week, choosing to be here for Father's Day instead. I still really, really want to do the Art in the Garden tour - enjoyed it immensely last year but am insecure driving alone since I ended up with a flat in Fresno Friday evening and only did Fix-a-flat to get back home - can't get the tire fixed 'til Monday. So can I still ride along with you guys today??????

Wine Trail Report: We had a GREAT DAY! As a team of 4 ambassadors of OF - we ROCK, Kim, Wolfie and Messy!
Quady still has the mouth-watering, tongue tempting treats that make the whole day worth the trip if you never get any further than that, IMO. Of course, what happens on the wine trail stays on the wine trail, as usual but I can tell tales without naming names, can't I? Right off the bat one of our party of 4 was lei'd and then we all got french kissed and then on the return trip two more of us got lei'd. We met another limo driver from Touch of Class in Fresno on this trip - a driver named Exxon, wouldja believe?! Watch for pix to come from Wolfie....
At Oak Hollow winery, aka Prospero, we met Nettie formerly of Cannondaqua (not sure about the spelling but that is how you say it!) and N'awlins with a beaming smile and sweet as can be - secretly I think she thought we were having soooooooooooo much fun she wanted to chuck her job there and just come along with us!
We told all we met and fooled around with to look for us at Oakhurst Online Forums...so be nice to visitors - they might be our new friends from the cigar shop or Birdstone Winery or Fincklin's, etc...

The last two who got lei'd, got lei'd at the same time http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wiseguy.gif. Ms. Sheila made a great co-pilot; cigars were shared; and we got some NICE bottles. It was a great field trip.

Great pix! I love the one where BeautifulMess is trying to squeeze the wine straight from the grapes on the vine into her glass. I tell you, no patience with that girl!

Oh really, did you get her info? I'll have the Bigman take a look at it on Wolfie's photo album. If he likes it too I'll take it.

Got two bottles of Electra (one white & one red) delivered to me today by Messy. Thanks to my friends who picked these up for me. You ladies are awesome! I hated missing the Wine Trail, but family does come first. Thank you for remembering me. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
