I know I should buy the CD, but I only need one song for my son's talent show. Does anyone have Toby Keith's "Who's Your Daddy" available to email to me?? If so, I would greatly appreciate it! Maybe I could trade for some Christmas music or something http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif Thanks! My email is dkalbrecht@sti.net

hey Nascar... do you have ITunes on the puter?

Download the proggie for free... and search and buy the song. (then download it to a cd). Itunes doesnt charge you a yearly membership fee... you just pay for the songs albums you buy.

I have never used the I-tunes. I used to use Kazaa which had everything and it was free. Now all songs on there are scarce. Thanks for the info...I'll try it http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

iTunes is only $.99 per song so if you need one it is good.

No problem, he can take care of the cars after the first of the year. Just give me a call. I got the file, thank you! The only thing is the file is an m4p (not mp3) and my puter can't play it. I am looking for a converter. Not sure if there is one out there. I think it might be copyrighted for ITunes. Do you know anything about this kinda thing?

I bet if you downloaded Itunes... it would solve the problem of being able to play the songs. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif, who knows.. im just guessing.

I just did and when I tried to play the song, it thought I was you and wanted your password. I backed out. I will set up my own account from now on. The m4p format belongs to them I guess. I tried conversion programs and no luck so far.

When you buy from iTunes you can't share the music.

You know, it's illegal to share music, so you two would be smart to do your illegal stuff via PM's. You don't need the feds knocking down your door. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif

There is a way around itunes. Create a playlist to burn. Burn it to CD. Take the CD and rip it to MP3's on your hard drive and then you can share all you want. Ooooops, I posted this as KK LOL. This is Newcomer http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif I buy my tunes from Itunes and I think it is worth the .99 per song. I just wish they had "Dream on" by Aerosmith http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/sad3.gif

Itunes is ok but I have found that Walmart music downloads are only 88 cents a song and most cd are only 9.44 I used both for awhile and Itunes and walmart both have the same music and with walmart there is no setup fee like with Itunes

Newcomer, I was reading that last night. I haven't tried it yet. I haven't actually "ripped" anything, just converted from wav to mp3. I will have to work on figuring it out for the future.

Just remember, when the feds come knocking the fines are big. A few friends of mine a few years back were using pirated cards for DirectTV and all the sudden they got a letter from DirectTV's lawyers stating that they were going to be taken to court and prosocuted. They gave them the option to turn in the Pirated DirectTV equipment and pay a fine of $10,000 or go to trial. They paid the fine. They were busted when a manufacturer of the card programmers that sold them was busted in a sting operation and traced the online purchase details back to the individuals.

I had to laugh when I read this Newcomer. Want to make sure I understand. They didn't have their home searched and equipment confiscated. The only evidence against them was that they bought something that might have been used. They simply got a letter that said we think you might be breaking the law please send $10,000 dollars and the evidence we will need to make sure your guilty? You think these folks might be interested in some ocean front property in Montana?
