yeah. ok. mature. hello? must you be a not-nice-person just because we don't agree on most things?
so uncalled for.
btw, i have never had a problem with them. tho i doubt i'd pay with a credit card now. and i have to admit i preferred 'struck stone', but like i said, never had a problem. they're always helpful, make me feel comfortable, help me out with even the smaller stuff, etc. plus they've been a great help to quite a few of my family and friends...

I'm sorry about that Tot, it's just that that's a rather sore subject to me. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/embarassed.gif

well, i took me a while to get that last post edited in between phone calls and whatnot. i believe you'll find your answers there.
i undertand that you did not have a good experience. if i had had the same, it would probably be a sore subject for me as well. however, i don't believe that i would have made a comment like that to someone of differing opinion...

You know tot, my response to you is from years of reading your responses and opinions to other threads that's why I was not surprised by your comment. As for your "not nice person" and "Ok.mature. hello" I really don't care how you feel about me, and I'll just keep my opinions of you to myself.

actually... i wish i had copied and pasted my PM, becaue Raider has not allowed me to send him PMs. so....
Point of all of it was (sorry, i know it's off topic)
Believe it or not i don't have a poor opinion of you. you do say things i don't agree with, sometimes it seems to be mean or antagonize, sometimes with little respect for others. but i do the same at times. so... yeah. we disagree. shock. so what? at least there's usually a bit of discussion so i understand where you're coming from.
Your bit about not being surprised that i still like oakhurst rocks confuses me a bit. i get the feeling it's an insult, but i don't really understand how or why.

It seems to me that people are allowed any opinion they desire.
I don't see why someone would get up in arms about a difference in satisfaction for any business. One person's scenario does not anothers make.
The entire point of having a "Rating of Businesses" is to show the level of satisfaction/dissatisfaction of any company. Some people might of loved the ____ of a business while some may have hated the ____ of the same company.
Why must we have a moot argument over one's opinion? Isn't sharing ones opinion and experiences with all of our mountain companies what we want? What happened to balance and fairness? I want to hear everyone's experiences to come up with an opinion of service. To each their own!

Ya know we don't agree on everthing Joy, but your darn right http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/yes.gif , I love to hear both sides, were not stupid kids on these forums and dont need to be mothered, Ok, I can see the foul language, sexual content problems should be watched and monitored by the 20 or so moderators we have here, but I think with all of us on here we can work it out by ourselfs http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/stretch.gif

YJ - extremely well said.
Oakhurst Rocks - been there twice - been completely ignored twice - (w/no other customers there one time and 3 employees outside just standing around - do you have to go inside to ask specifically for help? I'd think milling around the stacked rock bins for 15-20 minutes would initiate someone to come answer questions! Oops, not Vons - so noone asks if they can help you!) nuff said...

Usually if I do not have it delivered, I drive my truck right next to the rock bin I want, and they know I'm ready, but I still always go in and talk with Bruce or whoever to fill out the order, but if you have questions you should ask for help, http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/yes.gif some people do go there just to look and see what looks good for their own surroundings and really dont like to be bothered...like me http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/stretch.gif trying new ideas http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/dman.gif

Yeah, i think that's part of the difference. Whenever i go i just ask the first person i see for whatever it is i'm looking for. Most places i'll wait for someone to approach me, but not there, or any similar place.
