The Black Crowes are playing a concert here in the Bay Area next month at a very small venue. There will be less than 200 people there. My sister, aunt, uncle and a friend all have tickets. They have an extra ticket that they are offering me if I want to go.
So, who are the Black Crowes? I don't think I know any of their songs. Are any of you Black Crowes fans? If so, can you tell me what songs I may know by them? Should I go to this concert or should I have them sell my ticket?

Well, ya could google 'em. But the only song i'm pretty sure you'd know (it was popular when we were in HS/thereabouts) is "she talks to angels"
She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she’ll tell you she’s an orphan
After you meet her family
She paints her eyes as black as night, now
Pulls those shades down tight
Yeah, she gives a smile when the pain comes,
The pain’s gonna make everything alright
Says she talks to angels,
They call her out by her name
She talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her name
She keeps a lock of hair in her pocket
She wears a cross around her neck
Yes, the hair is from a little boy
And the cross is someone she has not met, not yet
Says she talks to angels,
Says they all know her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her name
She don’t know no lover,
None that I ever seen
Yes, to her that ain’t nothing
But to me, yeah me,
It’s everything
She paints her eyes as black as night now
She pulls those shades down tight
Oh yeah, there’s a smile when the pain comes,
The pain’s gonna make everything alright, alright yeah
She talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her name
Oh yeah, yeah, angels
Call her out by her name
Oh, angels
They call her out by her name
Oh, she talks to angels
They call her out
Yeah, they call her out
Don’t you know that they call her out by her name

The concert was good. Even though I only knew a few songs played, I enjoyed it very much. The venue (Swedish American Hall/Café Du Nord) was small, but that's the only thing it had going for it. It was like seeing a concert at the Oakhurst Community Center... but I think this room was even smaller and the stage was a lot lower. From the Black Crowes website "all shows will be in a very intimate setting and will be recorded for a possible acoustic release at some point in the future." I was in the 6th row and center. They had folding chairs setup. Everyone sat for the entire show. My sister was angry about that since she loves to dance. It was just the two Robinson brothers with acoustic guitars. Rich was very funny. He could be a comedian.
I also went to a bar where The Talking Heads performed, but I didn't get there until they were leaving the stage. I had a few beers with them at the bar, however.
