It is was it says Bgirl! I stood there with my face pressed against the window looking sorrowfully at the bike. My calves twitched at the sheer thought of pushing those handsome pedals. My wrists throbbed to be holding the handles that would guide me and the bike down the country roads with the wind blowing thru my hair, with my heart racing and feeling free - but alas - I was too late! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/cry.gif But on the bright side (and believe me this is true - I'm not being disrespectful or anything after the Oak Room post) I met a gay couple who came to walk and they were admiring the color of my car. They were new to the area and wanted to see Bass Lake. Also I met an older gentleman who rides his bike out there quite regularly. It was a nice trip, anyway. Think I'll even go there again next Sunday.

Oh not really. I've always liked to bike. When in SCV I biked all the time with my sis when she lived across the street from me and even after. Lots of residential streets there. We used to bike all the way to the end of Rainbow Dr. and back down. When we moved up here I didn't have my bike but walked to the end of Pine Ridge Rd. and back every day. I got lazy when we moved to Ahwahnee but last year after being diagnosed with pre-diab. I bought the treadmill and have been walking on that but nothing can beat the great outdoors. Thats why I want a mountain bike and will start doing that again. Today proved how wonderful it is to take advantage of the great outdoors where we live.
