I just got a really nice new couch! I got it home and realized why I got such a great deal on it. The people were heavy smokers. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/sad3.gif Im proud of my smoke free home, so does anyone know how I can get that smell out of the couch?

I would try lots of Fabreeze or Lysol spray, try the Fabreeze first

If that does not work contact a fire restoration company they know of tequniques to remove smoke damage and they may share the secret with ya.

Joe's Sew & Vac has some really good stuff that we use in cars that smell like smoke. It is an enzyme (sp?) that eats away the smell. SheilaMae will know what I am talking about.

What Nascar is talking about is called System Digester. I have used that also for pets and it works good for that. Not sure on smoke.

Cali - what we have is enzymatic deodorizer. Works AWESOME. And then we have a product called Sprinkles that is a kind of crystal and absorbs the odor out and then you vacuum it away. Come see me at Joe's tomorrow and I'll fix ya up or call me (still got my number?) I have some Sprinkles at home I'll let ya try.
