We stayed there on the last night of our honeymoon before going home. I'm not sure if they want us to mention specifically what they did because it was SO above and beyond they prolly don't want half the country asking for it. Suffice to say that they were the perfect end to an aleady perfect wedding/honeymoon. I love the attention to detail at the property like fountains, wind chimes, swings, etc. You can tell it is well loved by the owner. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be returning for anniversaries.

My family and I have stayed at Sierra Sky Ranch several times.

Each time we've found it very relaxing and friendly. The staff are all very friendly and engaging. It is clear that they enjoy the surroundings as much as the guests do.

They have always worked extremely hard to make sure we are comfortable and happy.

Their on site restaurant/bar "The Branding Iron" serves excellent steaks. And they have a "Seven Generation" brownie dessert that takes two or three eaters to finish. And there's also a really yummie apple pie, but get there early because the supplies are limited.

The Branding Iron also has live live music. 'Kit and Kaboodle' is a duo that plays more instruments than three muscians normally would.

They are "dog friendly." And they also have a small chicken coop that has various animals that kids can go visit.

Their pool was unheated, but feels great on hot summer afternoons.

It is a great place to go for a change of place, and being well taken care of.

Very happy repeat customer,

Romeo

GO to the sykranch.Inexpensive.great burgers excellent steaks, big portions!.....you wont be sorry..but, watch for the ghost..especially when you need to use the restroom...

Thanks so much to all of you who posted such kind comments about the Ranch and restaurant. It is very gratifying to know that all our love and hard work to resurrect and restore the hotel and restaurant is getting noticed and appreciated by not only our out-of- town guests, but more importantly, our local guests as well. It has always been our hearts desire that Sierra Sky Ranch live on and be successful....not just for ourselves, but for the community as well. It is one of the only remaining historic structures left in Oakhurst and truly belongs to the community...all of you.

I posted a classified the other day. We are accepting applications for all positions. We'd love to add to our Ranch family!

We hope to see all of you at the Ranch/Branding Iron. If you haven't visited in a while...or ever...you're missing a real treat.
