I have been working on a new sign layout for the new store.
What do you think?
Any Criticism or suggestions would do

This would be 5 feet by 10 feet

I like it. Who is doing your sign? If you want a carved wood sign... talk to me and I'll get you the "hooked-up" deal.

Thanks Mat but it is Going to be FULL color just like this proof.

Howlmountain, the same guy that did my truck letters and the signs on Pops car
The stove logo will be printed by the same people that do the fronts on the Pepsi machines.

Wood is not bright enough to attract attention
And does not last as long.

The only other thing I can think of would be a dog curled up in front of the stove,,,,http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif

yeah.. maybe we can take a pic of Sammy in front of your stove BTD! That way Sammy would be famous and perhaps bring a few bucks into the household to pay for his kibbles and chew toys.

An area code may be a good idea for tourists passing by... but I guess you deal with locals only??? Also, you may want to consider adding your street address in small letters at the bottom.

It is not that business is any better it is that this is my own and im not going to piss money away in rent that i will never see again.
this is an investment that my kid(s) will have when we are gone.

By the way the building is shaped we have less room that we do now. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/embarassed.gif

I think a phone number is a good idea ...sometimes people driving by just might want to call and then don't have to go look it up somewhere. JUst a suggestion... I always wish signs had phone numbers. In our cell phone age most people have a phone with them.

I like the sign - address isn't needed (isn't it going to be at the location itself?), phone number is fine - locals who I would think are the majority of your customers know the area code and its less clutter on the sign.

Simple and clean. A billboard has 13 seconds of attention, that's it, and I think this has just enough info on it.

Although, I was thinking, might be good to also say supplies and accessories? Or maybe those who see it would assume that is implied.

The layout looks good too!

I like the sign too...and agree a phone # would be a good addition. People driving by might get the thought "Hey, we need a new wood stove" and they could get the number right away rather than go home trying to remember your business name, look you up in the yellow pages and see ads for all your competition...then they'll be making more than one call. You want them to call you...right away.

I don't think you need your address on the sign either. There are a tone of address numbers up and down Hwy 41 and elsewhere...people remember or know your location by your vicinity and what's next door or across the street not by the little numbers on the building. We always advertise that we're across from the Days Inn...40713 Hwy 41 generally gives no clue about our location.

Thanks to all for the input

The phone # and website is on the sign
Mat was saying I need to put the area code But I think I will leave it the way it is.
