Subject: I am Taking a Different Path
Greetings,
It has been my privilege as well as an honor to be associated with Century 21 Ditton Sierra, REALTORS since the summer of 2005. However, I have now chosen a different path, by joining a “small company with a big heart,” Oakhurst Real Estate, as a Broker Associate.
I will be working with fewer clients, but with much more attention and support to each of them. My passion is not high volume, but high quality, and my new venue lends itself to that important goal. I also plan to spend more time teaching Real Estate and other Business courses at our local Community College.
It is important to me to make sure that I know enough, and that I do enough, that after escrow closings, my sellers and buyers will not wind up with unforeseen obligations or other expensive surprises.
The buying and selling of homes in California is becoming increasingly complex. For example, when I took my first college real estate class in 1986, a Residential Listing Agreement was a one page document, and today it is five pages long. A Residential Purchase Agreement (contract) was accomplished in two pages, and today it takes eight pages. Because Residential Real Estate is no arena for amateurs, I consistently make sure that I keep growing in the knowledge and experience that will the difference. My clients have every right to expect that of me.
Whenever you or any of your acquaintances are in need of professional real estate services, I hope you will keep me, and Oakhurst Real Estate, in mind

Thatâs the name of the new company created with the merger of Century 21 Ditton Realty and Sierra Realtors®, effective July 1, 2006. This merger brings together a management team of some of the most respected Real Estate professionals in the central Sierras. Kevin Christiansen, of Prather, is the âBroker of Recordâ for the new company. Kevin is known for his superior organizational skills. Kenny Buller, of Oakhurst, brings his skills as a recognized authority on the various Real Estate contracts. Brad Ditton, who says he plans to work less, (weâll see) is widely considered one of the most knowledgeable Real Estate Professional in the business. Larry Pamplin, a former Corporate Trainer and Executive with Century 21 will head up the training effort. All four members of the management team have ownership interests in the new company. The company now has offices in Oakhurst, Bass Lake, Coarsegold, Yosemite Lakes Park, Prather, North Fork, Shaver Lake, Friant, and will be opening an office in Sierra Ranchos soon.
The two former companies were about equal in size, and each held top market shares in their respective areas. Employees of both former companies are excited about the merger and are expecting greater opportunities for everyone.
This is great..more exposure when we decide to build and sell our spec home...

Subject: I am Taking a Different Path
Greetings,
For more than two years it was my privilege and honor to be associated with Century 21 Ditton Sierra, REALTORS. However, I have now chosen a different path, by joining the highly regarded Oakhurst Real Estate team, as a Broker Associate.
I am now working with fewer clients, but with much more attention and support to each of them. My passion is not high volume, but high quality, and my new venue lends itself to that important goal. I also plan to spend more time teaching Real Estate classes at our local Community College.
It is important to me to make sure that I know enough, and that I do enough, that after escrow closings, my sellers and buyers will not wind up with unforeseen obligations or other expensive surprises.
As you well know, California Real Estate is becoming increasingly complex. When I was studying Real Estate in college in the 1980’s, a Residential Listing Agreement was a one page document - today it is five pages long. A Residential Purchase Agreement (contract) was accomplished in two pages - today it takes eight pages. Buying or selling a home in today’s market is not a job for amateurs. Over the past quarter century, I have gained considerable knowledge and experience, and I continue to actively pursue an even higher level of professionalism. My clients have every right to expect that of me.
Whenever you or any of your acquaintances are in need of professional real estate services, I hope you will keep me in mind.
With kindest regards,
Ed Bailey
