Looking for something fun to do this Saturday? Well, get on down to Woodward Park and check out the Fresno Cycling Festival. www.fresnocyclingfestival.com

There will be booths, music (MoFo Party Band) food and several different bike rides. The highlight of the day will be the Washboard Century. I will be riding that day, but only in the Metric Century (67.5) miles. The ride is for charity: Leukemia and lymphoma society, and the Central California Blood Center.
So, if you are on your way down the mountain to the Madera Wine Trails, leave a few hours early and check out the cycling festival at Woodward park. (oh.. and get a map of the Metric Century and drive along looking for me.... cos Ill be in need of water.... gatorade and snacks!!!!!!!!)

(the Madera Wine trails is 3pm to 9pm btw)

One of the events will be a Blood Drive for the CCBC. So if you are over the age of 17, over 100 pounds and have a hemocrit over 37 then you are good to go. Also, they ask that you not have had recent tattoos or vaccinations. Check with them at woodward park and they will give ya the yeah or nay.
