Class of 1987 -
Good evening! I hope you are doing well after Mother's Day.
Ok, here is the status of our class reunion at this time. The day of the Reunion will be October 6, 2007. It seems after hearing from a lot of you that this will be a date that is acceptable and do-able.
I have gotten several banquet hall menus and country clubs to choose from. It all looks really good. What I would like to know from you, is how much do you want to spend on the evening? Let me know. If you have a range, for instance $50 - $85 or whatever it is for you, let me know and that will help me make a decision where we could go.
Also, I had a thought that we could have a nice dinner at Woodward Park with a nice canopy and catered dinner and all the other amenities. Anyways, I need to make some decisions so that we can secure the people and the menu, so on and so forth. If it doesn't matter too much to you, that's fine also. I'll just keep going and let you know when to start sending a deposit.
Also, if your coming in from out of town, will you need a place to stay? Let me know so I can secure a block of rooms at a good hotel.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you and to catch up with what's going on with you and your families.
Oh yeah, pretty soon I will start getting your addresses and phone numbers. I was also thinking of putting together something that has you and your families current photographs. That would be nice. Maybe someone would like to organize this.
Also, please tell anyone you still have contact with to get a hold of me. If they don't have email, they can call me at (559) 696-7376. Things are rolling along and it will be here pretty quick. Thanks for your emails.
Please feel free to jump in and help. I don't feel in any way that you will be stepping on my toes. I welcome anything you're able to do. Thanks again.
