The first thing you see upon entering the Cleveland Institute of Art's Reinberger Galleries is a large print of Monolith, The Face of Half Dome, Yosemite National Park, 1927. This is one of the most iconic images in the history of photography (http://www.topix.com/arts/photography) and a galvanizing feature in one of the most complete surveys of the 60-year career of legendary photographer Ansel Adams (1902-1984).
The exhibit, Ansel Adams: A Legacy, consists of many of his most beloved images. They are on view, courtesy of the Cleveland Museum of Art, at the Cleveland Institute of Art through Aug. 19. Read more (http://www.topix.net/content/kri/0324415192102166514617374705061651000903)
