I felt them both. I don't want to go see what fell though!! I heard crashes and glass--I think I'll check it out in the morning! :o

I also felt both of them. I just thought it may have been one long one since they were so close in time. It shook my house. I was worried that it was a big one in the Bay Area. I'm relieved to discover that it wasn't very large.

I felt them also. Actually heard them. The noise woke me up. sounded like someone was on my roof. Got up to check what was going on. Lasted awhile too.

9 miles SE of Mammoth Lakes would put your butt right in Crowley Lake, near Hot Creek. Hot Creek, btw, has been shut down to human soaking due to an increase in Geo Therm activity. i.e. If ya soak in hot creek now.. you will be a crispy critter.
Just looked at the map on the USGS site. Looks like the shaker was right at Crowley Lake housing area.. where there are LOTS of 800K plus houses.

I had taken the night off from work because I had a class to renew my Basic Life Support certificate durring the afternoon. I was still up, just starting to make me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I felt my house shake, then it sounded like someone or something running across the roof of my house. My dogs started barking. Then, I felt the next one and figured it was a quake. SPOOKY!!

actually with all the lil blows... it takes the pressure off of the volcano, and delays a big blow. Its when is no activity for a long time that a big blow happens.
thank Pan, dog or whom ever for these small shakers.

I felt it when it happened. Scared me because my A/C had just kicked on and at first I thought something had blown on it. Then I realized that the ground was shaking too. It was really weird because it was almost like it started at the top of the condo, worked it's way down the walls and then the floor. Course the fact that I was half asleep playing solitaire on the computer might have had something to do with that impression. THEN I figured it must be an earthquake, but didn't know for sure till I saw the news last night. Hadn't felt one like that in awhile.
