Currently, 12 states allow the use and cultivation of marijuana for medical purposes. They are:

Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

i am in full support of medical marijuana.... but in some ways it is going too far... some people cannot get M.M. cards... yet others get one for absolutely insane reasons. Also, there are some people out their who have to maintain licensure for their career choice and if they got a card for a legit medical reason, they could possibly suffer consequences. Medical marijuana was created as a means to keep sick ppl comfortable ie to relieve nausea caused by chemo.... yet some seem to believe.. i am ill... i like pot.. i am gonna get a card......
