I answered Import becuase my favorite beer is New Castle! I also enjoy Heineken & Spaten!
If I am going to drink a domestic beer, it would be Red Hook. I also enjoy a 40oz of Mickey's every once in awhile. If I must choose between Bud and Coors, I would have to go for a Bud!
What do you like?

If I drink beer, I prefer Guinness or New Castle. However, lately I've been drinking Maddelena White Zinfindel wine. I like wine or margaritas better! LOL http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/grin2.gif Sorry, Mibrew!

But as for REAL beer... ya cant beat the UK http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/grin2.gif Boddingtons, Caffreys, John Smiths, and of course Carling and Carlsberg (the Danish, NOT the american versions).
As Homer Simpson would say "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Beer!"

Sierra Nevada started brewing back in 1980,
the facility was designed for a 3,000 annual barrel capacity. Today they are brewing 550,000 barrels.
When they started out, there were no other small breweries for us to use as a model. When I designed the new plant in the late-'80s, it was planned for 60,000 barrels. At that point, we had grown to almost 15,000 barrels at the old facility.
Sierra Nevada has been the role model for the burgeoning microbrew industry.
Sierra Nevada began in 1980, when there were only 40 brewing companies left in the United States. Now, there are 1,500 breweries in the United States. Microbreweries account for only about 3 percent of the national production volume.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the flagship beer, the one that made Chico famous. It is a flawless beer that opens with bright, perky high notes of maltiness and orange blossom and segues into a delectable hoppiness.

When its hot, and I feel like slamming a beer, I go for the Tied House Rasberry Wheat, Bob Stoddard was the original Brewer there, but now he started Stoddard's brewery's in Sunnyvale, and just opened another in Menlo Park.
there's also a peach beer from Marin thats pretty tastey I also like Sudwerk's Mai Bock from Davis, Love some Portors, Stouts, IPA's, Barley wines are a treat if you can find them, a favorite barley Wines comes from El Toro Brewery, that makes Poppy Jasper..thx Gino.
Dont like Kolsh, light beers, the wheat that taste like banana's.
Remember the best beer is right out of the tap, and when you find Microbrew beer sitting on the shelf, thats wrong, because Microbrew should always be kept refrigerated, because its live, with no added preservatives.

Tis has been a fun post to watch. As it seems to be dying out now I will add my favorite beer joke-told to me by a British co-worker:
Question: Why is drinking American beer like making love in a canoe?
Answer: Because it's f*****g close to water!

My favorite beer is Fosters (In the Can). http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/crazya.gif
My best Fosters memorey was a lake Naciamento, just out of Paso Robles.
We were water skiing all day and towards the end of the day , Oh about beer thirty, I had finished my third can of Fosters.
Needless to say I was having a good old time. We went to the slalom course were I ended up falling pretty hard. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/wow1.gif
The strange thing was , I was wearing a pair of surf wear swim trunks. This is the funny part ,when I hit the water hard I felt myself hanging free in the water. My surf trunks had a velcro fly and upon hitting the water as hard as I did my velco fly ripped open and tore my trunks all the way down and around the center seam. So there I float in the lake with a pair of trunks ,that now is just one flat piece of fabric floating next to me. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/blush.gif
Well since me and mr. Fosters were having a good old time I got my ski back on and told the boat pilot " Hit it!!! " and up I came, no suit on http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/crazya.gif away we go into a cove where there was a few small family boats trolling and fishing. Here I come at 40 mph towards them http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/1zhelp.gif, didn't dare let go so my boat driver swings me just close enough to send a large wall of water sprayed from my hard turn on them http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/wave.gif and a veiw of my bits and pieces http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/shame.gif
The worst part of the whole ordeal was , being male , when you say hit it and the ski boat pulls you up out of the water, The last part of your body that leaves the lake, bouncing along the water top is http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/wow1.gif http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/smash.gif your bits and pieces http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/lol420.gif
So thats my Fosters down under story. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/applause.gif
Anybody want to go skiing? I'm thirsty... http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/wink420.gif
