Scheduled time for Stone River is 8:15 p.m. Before them will be some acoustic music and a death-defying escape artist. Donations for the Boys and Girls' Club of $5-$25 will be welcomed at the park entrance.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that showed up and thanks for being so supportive of me as the "other" drummer. :) I'll um...warily...await my "initiation" into the band. :) Thanks again.

Can't be two places at once, unfortunately...DramaQueen, a friend of hers (neighbor of yours, actually) and I were cheering on WaMu's football team over at Badger Stadium. Happy to say we saw them trounce their opponents 34-0!

Great pics KK ... can you sd them to me for www.Barneypalooza.com?
Also ...
The Race for Honorary Mayor ends tomorrow, July 17th.
We have held many events and raised many dollars towards our campaign to elect Barney as Honorary Mayor of Oakhurst. We have some stiff competition and while we will still benefit from the votes/dollars raised, we are not “shoe-ins” for the win as many may think.
Why does it matter if we win when we have raised thousands of dollars for the Club during the campaign?
The focus of our campaign has always been the kids and not “the win.” However, “the win” is still important because it means continued support and publicity for the Boys & Girls Club. If Barney wins the title of Honorary Mayor as a representative of the Boys & Girls Club, it will allow us the opportunity to keep the Club and its mission of serving our youth in the spotlight for yet another year.
If you would like to help us to ensure this much needed spotlight for the year to come, donations can be brought to me at Sierra Telephone or to Barney himself at Northstar Loans up until 5pm on July 17th.
Thank you for your continued support!
