How funny. I got confused last month and was thinking that Stone River was playing on the 25th of August..... guess deep down I really really knew that AC would cancel and let the stone river gang play.

I am gang for going out, but will be making it an early night as I wish to get up early and go riding on Sunday, since I have prior obligations with a certain group of crazy book women at the pool on Sat. :)

Yay! We haven't played at the Blue Heron in forever, it seems. But it's one of our very favorite places to play.

They book pretty far in advance and we had some things going on that prevented us from committing to any specific dates until December. All the other dates that we knew we'd be available were already spoken for by The Pines and Sequoia Brewing Company. Meanwhile, the Heron did all their booking for the rest of the year and the only date we could commit to isn't until December.

So that's the story, for anyone who cared. Now let's get down to business and rock out! Hope to see you all tonight!

Had a WONDERFUL time Saturday night and for ONCE I heard Stone River from 1st song to last (LOL - makes a difference when you go with the band manager and wife of a band member! Thanks Kim.).

Hafta say - my 'review' of Stone River Band nights at whatever venue we enjoy them is always good. Their mix is pleasant and always congenially presented by our Epic Steve. 'Play That Funky Music' ALWAYS gets my happy feet going, you guys! BUT - no disrespect to the other two guys - you know I LOVE all of you, but Saturday night the Warrenmeister was particularly STANDOUT, especially appreciated by this listener on 'Pink Cadillac' and not being much of a Hendrix fan I don't know the PROPER title but always just think of that blue-sy song SRB does as 'Little Sister'.
