Get your catalog of artists and their exhibit locations/home studios (your ticket for 2) for $15 now - I have 5 for sale... but you can also get them at the Stellar Gallery and various places around Oakhurst. The funds made will go towards the local arts, scholarships for young artists, funding the printing of the catalog, etc.
Go to www.sierraarttrails.org if you would like to hear more!
130 artists are on the trail this year that continues to grow in talent and adventure!
Newcomer made it this year into the trail also for his photography for his 1st time. I've been on the trail for 3 years out of its 5 year history and hope to be for years to come.
Everything from oil painters, water colorists, jewelry designers, photography, boat builders, ceramicists, glass artists, sculpturers, pastels, fiber artists, furniture, basketry and much more can be found on the trail. And its all fine art.
Hope to see you on the trail this year!

KK, I would like one of these. Since it comes in between my 2 yearly Oct. trips I think I can make it this year. If not, I always have friends who would love the tickets. So, now I would like a booklet (& tickets) plus the Chinese Chalk! Check your PMs for arrangements for picking up.

Had lots of people through today, few yesterday. I think the weather kept them away.
Didn't do as well as previous years - maybe my stuff isn't good enough anymore?

Don't be silly, your stuff is awesome, I just think it was a bad weekend, there were SO many things going on, the chocoate and wine festival, several big yard sale type things, the bass lake craft fair and many more...I'm sure that is the only reason.

I got a chance to see your stuff up close and personal whilst I was hanging out at the Stavast gallery on Saturday... in a word...nice....

The Oakhurst Fall Festival was packed. Perhaps people decided to check out the Chocolate Festival instead of the Art Trails. True Value and The Sierra Star parking lots were also packed with people for sales that were going on there. Also, gas prices are so high... maybe that is a factor to consider. Some don't want to use the gas driving all over the mountains. I'd be more likely to do the Art Trail if the trail wasn't so long. Anyway, don't question your work. You are an amazing photographer.

Thanks. I appreciate the support! Lately lots I'm doing/touching doesn't seem to be working out - but I hope its a short phase.
Although, I did get word yesterday that the Yosemite Sierra Visitor's Guide is going to publish 4 of my shots this year!!! (So that was a bright spot this week!) Last year they published 2 of my shots.

KK. Also, remember the economy is super tight this year.... seems people don't want to spend money on artwork (silly humans). The art auction at UCSF was not hopping either. Hey, they will just be kicking themselves when we are famous artists and our work is priced WAY out of their pocketbooks!! LOL.
