I had some guy come over and hook up my 2 computers a while back when he installed the computers...I can only get the computer in my husbands office to print out documents..I can send them to his printer but I cant gey my printer to work. It is on the list of computers in the setting..follow me?..I know its confusing but I would love to get my printer on my computer to print also...Its brand new...thanks if you can help

1) do you have the printer selected as your default printer?

2) did you install the software for the printer?

yes it is installed and it is supposed to be my default printer...but when Iclick on the icon...it doesnt work? i dunno...

Also, remember if you want your husband's computer to print to it also...you have to set your printer to "Share"

From the Printers/Faxes screen, right click the icon and click "Print test page" Make sure your printer is online first. Are you sure the cables are connected properly? If all else fails, find the install disk and reinstall the printer. That most of the time solves the problem. If not, we'll continue to try ;)

thanks everyone! I got it working myself...not really sure what I was doing but obviously it worked..I'm so proud of myself...yeah! ha!
