So.......if you bring an alternator to Kragen to have it tested, they won't do it if you happen to mention it came off a boat ..... even though it's out of a Chevy engine the same as a car. There are a lot of "car parts" used on boats...what difference does it make? Here goes another trip to Fresno, which should have been unnecessary.

and don't buy an alternator from them.... find it defective and try to return it...

i would try napa first before going to kragen. napa knows what there talking about and is more friendly, in my opinion.
